Basic Informations

1.      TKDN is the minimum percentage of resources (raw materials, capital goods, and services) sourced from or produced in Indonesia.

2.      This certification is one of the requirements for telecommunications products (such as mobile phones, computers, tablets, and televisions) or for participating in government projects involving state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), and the TKDN value must be 25% or above to qualify for government projects.

3.      To obtain TKDN certification, it is necessary to have a factory in Indonesia; trading importers cannot apply for TKDN certification.

4.      To calculate the Domestic Component Level (TKDN), it is necessary to follow the Ministry of Industry’s calculation formula and also require detailed production data from the factory. The following are the key production data needed to calculate TKDN:

1. Raw materials

2. Labor

3. Production equipment

4. Factory overhead costs (e.g., wages, rent, utilities, etc.)

5. Research and development expenditure

5.      Auditors will be on-site to verify location and production processes. During the verification of Domestic Component Level (TKDN), companies must outline the production processes of TKDN registered products.

6.      ShanhaiMap will provide a TKDN calculation report. This report is based on the data provided by the company for TKDN calculation. Additionally, ShanhaiTu will also provide a list of local raw material suppliers to help customers expand their local supplier network, meeting the requirements of domestic content levels.
