1. The registration of the test model is a document that can prove that the relevant model to be imported to Indonesia has been registered. This document is for the model that can be tested. 2. If the company will arrange to import fully assembled CBU vehicles, then the test model registration must be completed first. 3. If the company does not apply for test model registration first, the company cannot apply for SUT model test certificate, imported model registration and SRUT model test registration certificate. If these certificates are not processed, the company cannot legally trade vehicles. 4. A test model registration document belongs to one model. If the company arranges to import more than 1 model, then each model must be registered as a test model. 5. The matters of distinguishing vehicle types are as follows: 1. Motor drive; 2. Vehicle transmission device; 3. Drive axle; and 4. A frame composed of size and quality in the form of chassis and/or body. 6. If the company imports a vehicle with full assembly of CBU, the following conditions must be met: 1. Production within a maximum of 2 years before import [will be checked through the complete VIN vehicle registration number or the declaration letter of the foreign exporter/manufacturer (declaration about the year of manufacture of the vehicle)]; 2. Not registered in other countries; 3. The vehicle odometer shows that the highest number is 1000 kilometers; 4. It does not belong to the test drive vehicle; and 5. It is not a re-manufacturing vehicle. 7. The company must ensure that the relevant vehicles have met the requirements of Indonesian technical standards, so the vehicle test registration can be approved. 8. The registration of the test model is valid for one year. 9. The registration obligation of the test model does not include heavy duty trucks weighing more than 24 tons. In this case, an exception declaration letter issued by the customs is required.

Full VIN Vehicle Identification Number (17 characters), including a description of the code, with an indication of the year of manufacture (10th character) by the vehicle manufacturer or supplier in the country of origin 11. CCC China Compulsory Product Certification, must be certified by the Chinese competent authorities (especially for Chinese products)
