1. The Building Permit (PBG) is a permit issued by the local Public Works and Housing Affairs Department (Dinas PUPR) to the building owner or their representative, granting permission to begin construction, planning, maintenance, or renovation of a building. 2. The PBG replaces the original Building Permit (IMB) based on Government Regulation No. 16 of 2021. 3. Before starting construction activities, a Building Permit (PBG) must be applied for. When applying for the PBG, the building owner must provide planning drawings that have been approved by the local government or the industrial park management authority. 4. If the PBG is not obtained, the building owner may face administrative sanctions, fines, or even criminal penalties. 5. The building permit is valid indefinitely. However, if there is a change in the building’s use or size, it is required to be re-registered and processed, rather than simply amended. |
