BPOM Cosmetics Warehouse Inspection
The cosmetics warehouse inspection is one of the mandatory requirements for cosmetics importers before registering a BPOM account and products. In addition to the warehouse inspection, importers are also required to apply for an office inspection with BPOM.
BPOM Cosmetics Registration + DIP
Cosmetics refer to materials or preparations intended for external use on the human body, such as the skin, hair, nails, lips, and external genitalia, or on teeth and the mucous membranes of the mouth. They are specifically used for cleaning, perfuming, changing appearance and/or improving body odor, or for protecting or maintaining good condition of the body.

BPOM Cosmetic Factory Layout Approval Letter
Before applying for the CPKB (Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics) license, local cosmetic factories in Indonesia must first pass the review of the cosmetic factory layout and obtain an approval letter, indicating that their factory layout, functional areas, and related facilities meet the official BPOM requirements and are capable of conducting cosmetic production activities in compliance with quality standards.
BPOM Food Warehouse Audit
According to the relevant regulations of the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), completing the food warehouse audit (SMKPO) is one of the prerequisites that food importers must meet before registering an account and products in the BPOM system. Obtaining SMKPO certification indicates that the importer’s storage facility meets the required standards and is suitable for use as a product storage location.
