The Indonesia Renewable Energy Investment Summit (IREIS) 2023 held on 13-14 November 2023, at the Pullman Central Park Hotel Jakarta. This summit attracted more than 800 companies from China and Indonesia. 1500 participants attended the forum, showing high interest, especially from the Chinese side, in renewable energy investment in Indonesia.
In this summit, PT Shan Hai Map succefully invited government (DIRJEN ILMATE KEMENPERIN, KETENAGALISTRIKAN KEMENTRIAN ESDM, BIOENERGI EBTKE and PLN) and others renewable energy company (REPT, SOLARUV, BYD, STARVO, ELECTRUM, etc) to do sharing session in this summit.
Director of PT Shan Hai Map, Roger Hong Sye Phearn, underlined the importance of Indonesia’s position as a large country with a population that is ranked fourth largest globally, so the country would need renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels as future energy.
Roger said Chinese investors are not only willing to invest but also ready to transfer and transition to Indonesian companies engaged in procuring renewable energy sources.
The IREIS 2023 forum provides insights into bioenergy, electric vehicles, and solar power generation. It creates opportunities for face-to-face communication between Chinese investors and Indonesian government representatives in the renewable energy sector.
