The DIP (Product Information File) is a document that contains information regarding the quality, safety, and benefits of a cosmetic product.
Basic Informations

1.      The DIP (Product Information File) is a document that contains information regarding the quality, safety, and benefits of a cosmetic product.

2.      The DIP includes administrative documents, documents on the quality and safety of cosmetic ingredients, cosmetic product quality documents, and safety and usability documents.

3.      The DIP must be kept by the holder of the cosmetic product registration number and must be presented during a DIP audit by BPOM officials.

4.      DIP audits are often conducted with prior notice (30 days in advance) or without notice (in cases of customer reports).

5.      The administrative data included in the DIP must match the data reported through the system.

6.      If there are changes in the data, the DIP must be updated—except for changes in formulation data and product name, which require a new registration and preparation of a new DIP.
