Basic Informations

1.      According to Indonesian law, foreign-invested companies or foreign representative offices can establish a branch office in Indonesia.

2.      A branch office may have an independent legal status or assume part of the responsibilities of the parent company.

3.      A branch office can independently open a bank account, sign contracts, and file taxes.

Required Documents :

1.      Articles of Association and Amendments (if any) of the Indonesian Parent Company (AKTA)

2.      Ministry of Law and Human Rights Approval and Amendments (if any) of the Indonesian Parent Company (SK)

3.      Tax Card and Tax Registration Certificate of the Indonesian Parent Company (NPWP & SKT)

4.      Business Registration Number (NIB) of the Indonesian Parent Company

5.      Username and Password for the OSS System of the Indonesian Parent Company

6.      Shareholder Information of the Indonesian Parent Company:

o   Individual Shareholder

a)      Indonesian Citizen: ID card, Tax Card

b)      Non-Indonesian Citizen: Passport copy

o   Corporate Shareholder

a)      Articles of Association (Sworn Translation in English/Indonesian)

b)      Business License (Sworn Translation in English/Indonesian)

7.      Branch Office Manager Information (The branch office manager must have a name different from the one listed in the parent company’s Articles of Association)

a.      Indonesian Citizen: Colored scan of ID card, Tax Card

b.      Non-Indonesian Citizen: Colored scan of Passport, Tax Card

8.      Branch Office Address

a.      Building Permit (IMB)

b.      Polygon Map

c.      Lease Agreement
