Building Compliance Certificate
The Building Compliance Certificate (SLF) is a certificate issued by the local government, applicable to completed buildings, confirming that the building meets functional suitability requirements. Obtaining the SLF is a necessary condition for the building to be put into use.
Basic Informations

1.      The Building Compliance Certificate (SLF) is a certificate issued by the local government, applicable to completed buildings, confirming that the building meets functional suitability requirements. Obtaining the SLF is a necessary condition for the building to be put into use.

2.      The SLF must be applied for when the building is 100% completed and ready for use.

3.      The purpose of the SLF is to ensure the building meets existing standards and to enhance the property’s value.

4.      If the SLF is not obtained, the building may be subject to administrative penalties or fines by the local government, as it indicates non-compliance with relevant regulations.

5.      The validity period of the SLF varies depending on the building’s purpose:

a. For factories, the SLF is valid for 5 years, after which re-application is required.

b. For warehouses, the SLF is valid for 10 years, after which re-application is required.

1.      Company Articles of Association and any amendments (if applicable)

2.      Ministry of Justice approval letter and any amendments

3.      Company Business Registration Certificate (NIB)

4.      Company Tax Card (NPWP)

5.      Identity information of directors and commissioners (Indonesian nationals: ID card, foreign nationals: passport)

6.      Company letterhead and logo

7.      Company introduction document (including organizational structure)

8.      Environmental impact assessment report and approval documents

9.      Emissions report and approval documents (if applicable)

10.    Wastewater discharge technical approval and approval documents (if applicable)

11.    Hazardous waste handling/usage report and approval documents (if applicable)

12.    KKPR documents

13.    Lease or purchase agreement for land or buildings

14.    Permanent land use rights

15.    Building usage rights

16.    Site plan (including or excluding equipment placement diagrams)

17.    Recommendation letters *If applicable, if not, services can be provided by ShanHaiMap:

a. Labor Department-issued lightning protection recommendation letter

b. Labor Department-issued electrical installation recommendation letter

c. Labor Department-issued transportation equipment recommendation letter

d. Labor Department-issued pressure vessel recommendation letter
