1.      General contracting qualification is a business area of a construction service business entity working in the field of construction implementation, planning and supervision (EPC). The scope of work includes planning, implementation and integrated construction supervision services (EPC), covering the construction of buildings, industrial and factory facilities, transportation facilities and infrastructure, water facilities and infrastructure, including the construction of onshore or offshore oil and gas industries. Facilities, comprehensive construction service work includes: design and construction, planning, procurement and acceptance execution (engineering, procurement and construction), implementation of turnkey projects, and/or performance-based work implementation.

2.      Oreign-funded construction companies can only be in the form of joint ventures. Foreign and local shareholders must be construction companies. Foreign capital shall not exceed 67% of the shares, and local joint ventures must account for at least 33% of the shares. The joint venture must be a local B-grade construction company in Indonesia and have the construction qualification corresponding to the business scope of the joint venture subsidiary.

3.      The SBU applied by BUJKA, PT PMA and the local construction company is B grade (the highest construction qualification level in Indonesia). The two subjects have different application conditions for applying for SBU:

1. BUJKA

a. (Parent Company) Net Asset Requirements: 35 Billion Rupiah (About 15.75 Million RMB)

b. (Parent Company) Performance Contract Requirements: 100 Billion Rupiah (About 45 Million RMB)

c. A Head of The Representative Office (PJBU) Is Required to be Concurrently Held by the Chief Representative

d. At Least One Technical Leader (PJT) With a SKK Certificate

e. Each qualification classification must have at least one person in charge (PJSK) and have a SKK certificate

2. PT PMA B

a. (Local) Net Asset Requirements: 25 Billion Rupiah (About 11.25 Million RMB)

b. (Local) Performance Contract Requirements: 50 Billion Rupiah (About 22.5 Million RMB)

c. A Representative Office (PJBU) is required to be concurrently held by the director of the company.

d. At least one technical leader (PJT) with a SKK certificate

e. Each qualification classification must have at least one person in charge (PJSK) and have a SKK certificate

3. PT PMDN B

a. (Local B) Net Asset Requirements: 25 Billion Rupiah (About 11.25 Million RMB)

b. (Local B) Performance Contract Requirements: 50 Billion Rupiah (About 25 Million RMB)

c. A representative office head (PJBU) is required to be concurrently held by the director of the company

d. At least one technical person in charge (PJT) with a SKK certificate

e. Each qualification classification must have at least two person in charge (PJSK) and have a SKK certificate

4.      Before applying for the SBU, you must register with the Construction Association and obtain the membership certificate KTA of the Construction Association.

5.      When applying for SBU, you must submit an ISO 37001 certificate (anti-bribery management system) and a list of engineering equipment.

6.      The service includes submitting application for construction materials and equipment information on the SIMPK system (equipment provided by the customer)

7.      The service is included in submitting an application performance contract on the SIMPAN system (the performance contract provided by the customer)
