2.      ISO 45001:2018 can be applied to enterprises of all types of industries.

3.      ISO 45001:2018 has officially replaced OHSAS 18001 as the global unified occupational health and safety management system standard. This update marks a more systematic and preventive step for organizations in managing workplace health and safety.

4.      The role of having ISO 45001:2018:

1.      Establish a clear responsibility mechanism;

2.      Integrate risk control into daily operations;

3.      Involve employees in safety management and enhance a sense of belonging;

4.      Provide institutional guarantees for enterprises to respond to emergencies;

5.      Reflect the importance of enterprises to social responsibility;

6.      Promote continuous improvement and system upgrades of enterprises.

5.      It is recommended that enterprises apply for ISO 45001:2018 certification after they have a preliminary team and workflow standards.

6.      Employee training and on-site review are required during the ISO 45001:2018 application process.

7.      The ISO 45001:2018 certificate is valid for 3 years. It is recommended to apply for a new one 4 months before the expiration date.

8.      ISO 45001:2018 must be reviewed annually and must be applied for 4 months before the expiration date.
