1. K3L refers to security, safety, health and environment. Domestically produced or imported products related to security, safety, health and environment must obtain the K3L certification number before they can be circulated on the market. 2. According to the Regulations of the Ministry of Trade No. 26 of 2021, there are two types of products that must have K3L certification number:
a. Electronic products
Examples: electric drills, chainsaws, electric mills, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, water dispensers, etc.
b. Products containing hazardous chemicals
Example: towels, carpets, shoes, crayons, erasers, etc 3. Product testing must be carried out before applying for K3L certification. The number of samples required for testing is 1 sample for each item to be tested. 4. The K3L certification number is valid for 5 years. 5.
