1. TPP is a registration certificate that is mandatory for every mobile phone, handheld computer and tablet product to be manufactured in Indonesia or imported into Indonesia, and is accompanied by the product’s model, identification number and quantity. 2. This TPP rule is regulated by Regulation No. 108/2012 of the Ministry of Industry. 3. Before applying for TPP certification, mobile phones, handheld computers and tablets are also required to obtain TKDN and POSTEL certificates issued by the Ministry of Industry. 4. If the brand is held under the company’s name, the company must have an Indonesian Trademark Certificate (HKI). If the brand is not owned by the company, a distribution cooperation agreement can be provided. 5. Manufacturers or importers of mobile phones, handheld computers and tablet computers must submit a report on the realization of production or import to the Ministry of Industry no later than 1 month after the realization of production or import. 6. A certificate is for a product type (the certificate will contain IMEI information). The product type referred to is 1 brand, 1 specification and 1 model. 7. The IMEI implementation report must be performed by the person in charge of the applicant company.
